BJP Accused of Digital Arrest of Nitish Kumar by Rajesh Ram

Patna, March 9: Bihar Congress President Rajesh Ram has accused the BJP of placing Nitish Kumar under a “digital arrest.” He stated that Kumar, who has long fought for socialist ideals, has now surrendered that fight to the BJP and compromised with the RSS agenda.

Ram raised questions about what compels Kumar to remain unmoved by the tears of his own party workers and representatives.

During a press conference at the Bihar Congress office, Ram expressed that the recent developments involving Nitish Kumar did not surprise the Congress party. He claimed it was inevitable, as the current government was formed through vote theft, and the BJP has been conspiring behind the scenes to remove Kumar.

He alleged that the BJP’s political strategy has been to weaken and eliminate its allied parties. Ram pointed out that just as the BJP has kept Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde close while undermining the original Shiv Sena, it has similarly weakened the Akali Dal.

He further accused the BJP of attempting to break the Nationalist Congress Party led by Sharad Pawar and gradually eliminating several regional parties, including the Biju Janata Dal led by Naveen Patnaik.

Ram stated that the BJP has a history of initially collaborating with its allies before ultimately destroying them. He described the alliance between the BJP and JD(U) in Bihar as an incompatible coalition that goes against the interests of the public.

He claimed that this strategy is now being applied to other allied parties, with Andhra Pradesh leader Chandrababu Naidu being the next target.
