Atlético Madrid Triumphs Over Manchester United in UEFA Champions League Clash

Madrid, October 14 (Daily Kiran) : Atlético Madrid achieved a solid 2-0 victory against Manchester United in a UEFA Champions League match held in Madrid. Pablo Barríos and Ademola Lookman were the scorers for Atlético.

The first goal came less than a minute into the game. Giuliano Simon received a long ball and set up Barríos, who finished with a side-footed shot.

Tani Oluwaseyi’s stunning goal in the 86th minute marked Villarreal’s first Champions League victory since defeating Bayern Munich in April 2022.

In a separate fixture, RB Leipzig secured their first Champions League win of the season by beating PSV Eindhoven 1-0, thanks to a goal from Brajan Gruda in the second half. Goalkeeper Maarten Vandervoordt helped keep Leipzig in the game by saving a penalty. Gruda found success in the 75th minute when PSV failed to clear a corner, allowing him to convert a deflected shot into the bottom corner.
