New Delhi, September 24 (Daily Kiran) : The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) launched the Trade and Investment Promotion Services (TIPs) platform on Thursday, September 24, 2026. This dedicated initiative aims to assist exporters, investors, and businesses in improving market access while facilitating trade and investment opportunities both in India and internationally.

The announcement of this platform came during a recent meeting of ASSOCHAM’s managing committee. It is designed to provide a comprehensive support mechanism for domestic and international investors.

TIPs will consolidate economic research, policy information, and facilitative services to help identify business growth opportunities, understand regulatory processes, and expand into new markets.

According to ASSOCHAM, the platform will offer analysis related to various sectors, insights into investment opportunities, an understanding of policy and regulatory frameworks, and guidance on approvals and clearances available through central and state governments’ single-window systems.

Additionally, the platform will provide information on taxation, foreign direct investment (FDI) regulations, trade agreements, and emerging global market trends.

This initiative aligns with the government’s vision for a developed India by 2047, as well as key programs such as Make in India, Ease of Doing Business, and Atmanirbhar Bharat.

Through TIPs, ASSOCHAM aims to contribute to the goal of reaching a combined annual export of $2 trillion for goods and services by 2030 and increasing annual FDI inflow to $200 billion by 2032.

Nirmal K. Minda, President of ASSOCHAM, stated that the platform’s goal is to transform market-related information, policy insights, and facilitative services into solid investment opportunities for India’s growth story.

He emphasized that TIPs will assist businesses in identifying opportunities, understanding processes, and translating investment intentions into projects and job creation.

ASSOCHAM noted that TIPs will also support India’s broader economic ambitions, which include achieving an annual export of $1 trillion for goods and services by 2030, increasing exports to BRICS countries to $200 billion, raising the manufacturing sector’s contribution to GDP to 25% by 2035, and strengthening the MSME sector.

The platform will provide end-to-end collaboration, helping investors identify opportunities, evaluate locations, and find business partners. It will also aid Indian companies in accessing international markets and connecting with potential global partners.
