Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia Acquitted in Delhi Liquor Scam, Emotions Run High

New Delhi, February 27: Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and former Chief Minister of Delhi, has been acquitted in the Delhi liquor scam case. AAP leader Manish Sisodia has also been cleared of all charges. The moment was emotional for Kejriwal, who was embraced by Sisodia in a show of solidarity.

Upon his acquittal, Kejriwal stated, “I am not corrupt. I have earned my integrity throughout my life. This false case has been proven wrong today.” He emphasized that the court recognized both himself and Sisodia as “extremely honest.” Kejriwal accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of perpetuating the liquor scam narrative while targeting them with baseless allegations. The court dismissed all charges against the accused, leading to their exoneration.

Kejriwal reiterated his belief in the triumph of truth, expressing gratitude towards the judiciary. “We have always said that truth prevails. We trust the Indian justice system. I thank the honorable judge for delivering justice,” he remarked. He also claimed that Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah orchestrated the largest political conspiracy in independent India to dismantle the AAP by imprisoning its top five leaders.

He criticized the current administration, stating, “The current Chief Minister was dragged from his home to jail. It was a complete sham. Instead of focusing on power, address the pressing issues of inflation, unemployment, and pollution plaguing the nation.”

Kejriwal’s wife, Sunita Kejriwal, also shared her thoughts on social media, stating, “No matter how powerful one becomes, they cannot surpass divine strength. Truth always prevails.”
