Jaipur, 8 August 2025: Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command, visited Bathinda and Lalgarh Jattan Military Stations to review operational preparedness, training activities, and operational logistics of the formations.

During the visit, the Army Commander inspected the Drone and Counter-Drone Training Laboratories and other state-of-the-art training infrastructure, witnessing demonstrations on the innovative use of drones. He stressed the need for task-oriented and realistic training, driven by emerging cutting-edge technologies, and urged the adoption of niche systems, including AI, drone, and cyber capabilities.
Lieutenant General Singh also visited various logistic support echelons, such as automated warehouses and explosive storehouses, and viewed Innovation and Technology Absorption displays showcasing indigenous ideas. He lauded these initiatives and called for the creation of additional facilities and infrastructure to accelerate the technology-driven transformation of the Indian Army.
Interacting with all ranks, the Army Commander urged them to stay updated on the latest technological advancements and emerging cyber threats, and to be prepared to act as first responders in both physical and cyber domains. He praised their professionalism and commended their unwavering commitment and dedication to the nation.
