Arjun Rampal Remembers His Late Mother Gwen on Her Birthday

Mumbai, October 2 (Daily Kiran) : Actor Arjun Rampal paid tribute to his late mother, Gwen Rampal, on her birthday, which fell on October 2. Taking to Instagram, he shared a touching post, reminiscing about the celebrations they would have together as a family.

In his heartfelt message, Rampal wrote, “Happy birthday, Mom. We still celebrate your birthday by remembering you. I miss you dearly, as there is no one like you. I know you are always with me.”

Gwen Rampal was a dedicated school teacher who taught at St. Patrick’s School in Deolali, Nashik. She passed away after a long battle with triple-negative breast cancer on October 27, 2018. Her courageous fight against the illness left a lasting impact on those who knew her.

On the professional front, Rampal is set to appear in the high-octane survival thriller “Operation Ganga,” following the success of “Dhuranhar” and its sequel. The film will also feature Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, along with actors Bhagyashree Borse, Parthiban, and Adil Hussain.

Initially titled “EL367,” “Operation Ganga” refers to the mission undertaken by India to evacuate citizens, including thousands of students, from Ukraine amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict. The film, with the tagline “A Nation’s Promise,” will showcase one of India’s most daring and intriguing operations across international borders.

Produced under the banner of Shri Gokulam Movies, the film’s action sequences will be choreographed by renowned action director C. Young Oh, who previously worked on “Dhuranhar” and “Kill.” The music for “Operation Ganga” will be composed by Shashwat Sachdev, following the success of the pan-India film “Dhuranhar.”
