Mumbai, September 14 (Daily Kiran) : Mumbai actor Arhaan Khan, known for his appearance on “Bigg Boss 13,” is eager to explore opportunities in the OTT space. He believes that digital content creators and social media influencers have transformed entertainment, providing new avenues for artists while also presenting challenges.
Khan remarked, “Success doesn’t come easily. It carries a lot of baggage. Regardless of the industry or showbiz, these elements accompany success.”
Expressing his desire to work in OTT, he stated, “All good actors are now participating in OTT. It’s a fantastic platform for showcasing oneself and doing something unique. Naturally, I would love to be part of it.”
When asked about the television industry’s tendency to typecast actors into specific roles, Khan noted that while this was once common, the landscape has changed. “In the past, actors were often confined to certain roles, but that’s not the case anymore. Each show now features diverse characters,” he explained.
He reminisced about the quality of earlier television shows, citing classics like “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.” Today’s offerings, he feels, are markedly different. “Shows like ‘Jethalal’ and ‘Sahar,’ which my friend is part of, showcase a variety of narratives. Indian television has always had compelling stories and talented individuals.”
Looking ahead, Khan emphasized the importance of hard work and integrity. “Whatever you do, aim to be deserving of it. Work with complete honesty, and success will follow.”
