Hamirpur, August 14: BJP MP Anurag Thakur and fellow MP Radhamohan Singh have sharply criticized Rahul Gandhi‘s inappropriate comments regarding Prime Minister Modi. Thakur stated that no one expects dignified language from Gandhi.
In a media interaction, Thakur emphasized, “Who knows the respect for the tricolor better than us or any Indian? Captain Vikram Batra, after capturing Tiger Hill, expressed, ‘Yeh dil maange more,’ showcasing the spirit of a young Indian who wanted to achieve more. He halted and pushed back the advancing Pakistani army.”
Thakur continued, “The Congress party wants to politicize Vande Mataram and the tricolor while praising Pakistan and China. No one expects Rahul Gandhi to use respectful language. Due to the culture and upbringing of the Congress, the nation has given up hope that Gandhi would ever speak civilly. However, making indecent comments about a foreign female Prime Minister is condemnable. Such remarks come from two Congress leaders whose mothers have been in politics.”
On social media platform X, Thakur wrote, “Political differences and disagreements are normal, but Rahul Gandhi’s language raises questions about his upbringing and values. Coming from a family where women have held the highest positions in the country, Gandhi’s inappropriate comments about a foreign head of state reflect his mindset.”
Regarding the FCRA bill, Thakur stated, “Every country has rules for foreign funding. Money does not come openly into any nation. There are regulations, and funds should be used for their intended purpose. However, Congress does not want laws to regulate this money. This law is not against any religion, educational institution, or minority; it is solely to ensure India’s security.”
He concluded, “I wish everyone a very Happy Independence Day. Today, thousands of youth in Hamirpur took to the streets for a tricolor rally, sending a message of respect for the flag to the world. Today’s youth want to play a crucial role in building a developed India.”
BJP MP Radhamohan Singh remarked on Rahul Gandhi, stating, “Gandhi has become a subject of ridicule. His behavior and actions make him a laughingstock.”
