Mumbai, April 20: Actor Anjum Batra is steadily making a name for himself in the entertainment industry. Currently, he is gaining popularity through the series ‘Mamalla Legal Hai-2.’ However, he first captured the audience’s attention with the film ‘Amar Singh Chamkila.’
In the early days of his career, Batra also worked in Anurag Kashyap’s film ‘Dev D.’ In a recent interview, he shared his experiences working with both Imtiaz Ali and Anurag Kashyap.
He noted, “Their thought processes and working styles are somewhat different, but one thing they share is their ability to draw out the best performances from their actors.”
Regarding his future projects, he stated, “I prefer to let things flow naturally. I would love to play diverse roles, but I believe that good work brings new opportunities on its own.”
Anjum also mentioned his upcoming project, saying, “I have recently completed shooting for the Punjabi film ‘Ishqnaam,’ which will be released soon. Additionally, I am in discussions for a few more projects. For now, I just want to tell my fans to watch the second season of ‘Mamalla Legal’ and continue showering me with their love.”
Reflecting on the challenges he faced in his career, he remarked, “I wouldn’t call it a struggle, as I chose this profession willingly. No one forced me into it. Yes, when I look back, I feel I could have portrayed some characters better, but that comes with experience. Over time, we learn and grow.”
The film features Ravi Kishan, Nidhi Bisht, Naila Grewal, and Anant Joshi in lead roles.
