In a recent post, Anil reflected, “My journey with Shashi Kapoor began long ago. As a child, I had the opportunity to portray the young Shashi Kapoor in ‘Tu Payal Mein Geet.’ That experience stayed with me, and from those early days, he recognized my deep passion for acting.”
Anil Kapoor described Shashi as the most charming, affectionate, and gentlemanly figure in Hindi cinema. Not only did he produce films, but he also significantly contributed to the establishment of the renowned Prithvi Theatre. It’s noteworthy that Anil’s talent was also recognized by the legendary Dilip Kumar, who encouraged him during his college days and even awarded him a trophy.
