Andhra Pradesh Government Releases Job Calendar for Over 10,000 Vacancies

Amaravati, March 19: In a significant move to benefit the youth of Andhra Pradesh, the state government has released a job calendar through the State Public Service Commission to fill over 10,060 vacancies across various departments. This announcement comes as a gift for Ugadi, the Telugu New Year.

According to the job calendar, four notifications will be issued between May 15 and October 15, 2026, to fill these vacancies. The first notification, set to be released on May 15, will address a total of 1,500 vacancies in the Higher Education Department.

A second notification will follow on August 15, which will include 2,778 positions in the Home Department, along with 928 vacancies in other departments and 91 Group-I posts.

On September 15, a notification for 750 Group-II jobs will be issued, comprising 503 positions in the Engineering Department and 506 in other sectors. The final notification, scheduled for October 15, will fill 3,004 vacancies in School Education/Secondary Education.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has urged aspiring candidates to seize these opportunities with dedication and skill. In a post on the social media platform X, he emphasized that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP)-led government prioritizes employment.

He claimed that since the TDP coalition government took office, over 600,000 jobs and employment opportunities have been created in both the public and private sectors within 21 months.

Naidu also mentioned that with increased investment and the establishment of industries, significant job creation is anticipated in the private sector this year.

Earlier, while addressing the Ugadi celebrations in Vijayawada, Naidu highlighted that the state government has provided jobs to 15,940 teachers through the Mega District Selection Committee and recruited 5,757 police constables.

He stated that the government has successfully provided jobs to 30,607 individuals while 6.2 million people have found employment in the private sector. Naidu reiterated the government’s commitment to fulfilling its promise of creating 2 million jobs over the next five years.

State Minister for Human Resource Development and Information Technology, Nara Lokesh, expressed his satisfaction that the ‘people’s government’ has fulfilled its promise by releasing the job calendar during the Yuvagalam Padayatra. He announced that from now on, job announcements will be celebrated annually during Ugadi.
