Dehradun, March 7: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah is on a visit to the Devbhoomi of Uttarakhand. The state is buzzing with excitement over his arrival. On Saturday, he landed at Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, where Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami warmly welcomed him. CM Dhami presented him with a bouquet to honor his visit.
In a post shared on his social media platform, CM Dhami expressed, “A heartfelt welcome and congratulations to the esteemed Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on his arrival at Jolly Grant Airport, who is laying the foundation for prosperity through cooperation and realizing the vision of a strong and secure India.”
After the airport welcome, Amit Shah departed by helicopter for Haridwar. Upon reaching Haridwar, he will attend the state government’s ‘Four Years Unmatched’ program as the chief guest at the Bairagi Camp ground. This event aims to showcase the achievements of the state government over the past four years. During the event, Union Minister Amit Shah will also review an exhibition organized by the state government.
In preparation for the public gathering, the administration has implemented stringent security measures. Senior police and administrative officials are present, overseeing all arrangements. Multiple security perimeters have been established around the event site to ensure the gathering proceeds peacefully.
Several senior leaders and ministers from the Bharatiya Janata Party are also present on the stage. Notable attendees include Saurabh Bahuguna, Ramesh Pokhriyal, Tirath Singh Rawat, Vijay Bahuguna, Swami Yatiwaranand, Ajay Bhatt, Subodh Uniyal, Ajay Tamta, Trivendra Singh Rawat, Dhansh Singh Rawat, Vijayaraj Lakshmi, Rekha Arya, Satpal Maharaj, and Anil Baluni.
Meanwhile, crowds began gathering at the Bairagi Camp ground in Haridwar early in the morning. BJP workers, supporters, and saints from various districts have arrived in large numbers at the venue. Thousands of chairs have been set up, and the assembly area is nearly full. There is considerable enthusiasm among the attendees to hear Amit Shah speak.
