Ahmedabad, May 4: Adani Group‘s Ambuja Cements announced its financial results for the fourth quarter of FY26 (January-March) on Monday. The company recorded an annual income increase of 9%, reaching ₹10,915 crores. This marks the highest quarterly income achieved by the company to date.
According to stock exchange filings, the company reported a record sales volume of 19.9 million tons during the review period, reflecting a 10% growth compared to the same period last year.
In the fourth quarter of FY26, Ambuja’s operating EBITDA stood at ₹1,464 crores, with a margin of 13.4%. The EBITDA per metric ton was ₹735.
The company’s balance sheet remains robust, and it is currently debt-free. Ambuja has announced a dividend of ₹2 per share.
Ambuja’s financial health is strong, with total assets of ₹71,846 crores and cash reserves of ₹1,770 crores. This financial stability is supported by top-tier AAA/A1+ credit ratings from CRISIL and CARE.
Vinod Baheti, the full-time director and CEO of Ambuja Cements, stated that FY26 was a mixed year for the cement sector. While there were consolidations and GST 2.0 reforms, adverse weather, global geopolitical factors, and state elections impacted the industry in various ways.
He further noted, “Despite these challenges, Ambuja Cements delivered strong performance throughout the year.”
During this quarter, Ambuja Cements completed the merger of its Sanghi and Penna Cement businesses, with Sanghi Cement being delisted from stock exchanges as of April 6, 2026.
Meanwhile, ACC and Orient Cement have submitted applications to the stock exchanges and are awaiting regulatory approvals.
On the operational front, the company has commenced a clinker line in Jodhpur with a capacity of 3 metric tons per year and has begun testing for a grinding unit in Dahej with a capacity of 1.2 metric tons per year.
