Akash Anand to Hold Public Meetings Across Five Districts in Uttar Pradesh

BSP leader Akash Anand plans public meetings in Uttar Pradesh and a seminar in Punjab, emphasizing party responsibilities and community engagement.

Lucknow, October 18 (Daily Kiran) : Akash Anand, the national coordinator of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), is set to launch a series of public meetings in Uttar Pradesh starting October 28. He will address gatherings in five districts by the end of November. Additionally, he will serve as the chief guest at a seminar commemorating Constitution Day in Punjab on November 26, followed by a program in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, on December 6 to honor Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s Mahaparinirvan Day.

BSP national president Mayawati announced Anand’s upcoming engagements on social media, highlighting his commitment to prioritizing the party’s mission over personal relationships. She noted that there are high expectations from the community regarding Anand’s leadership. His first public meeting will take place in Bulandshahr on October 28, followed by events in Saharanpur on November 2, Ayodhya on November 20, Agra on November 22, and Kanpur Nagar on November 29.

On November 26, during the Constitution Day seminar in Punjab, Anand will share his insights as the chief guest. He will then participate in a seminar and public meeting in Haridwar on December 6 to mark Dr. Ambedkar’s Mahaparinirvan Day. Mayawati emphasized Anand’s active role, addressing recent challenges within the party and clarifying that his relative, Ashok Siddharth, was primarily responsible for certain issues. Consequently, Siddharth has been advised to step back from politics.

Mayawati urged party members to support Anand’s initiatives, warning against selfish elements attempting to mislead the public. She encouraged vigilance and full commitment to ensuring the success of Anand’s programs. Furthermore, she dismissed rumors regarding Siddharth’s potential return to the party, asserting that he would not be reinstated under any circumstances.

In addition, Mayawati announced that Ishan Anand, Akash Anand’s younger brother, who has completed his law studies in London, will be assisting in the BSP’s central office in Delhi. He will focus on election-related responsibilities and other administrative tasks.
