Beijing, March 17: The world’s first large-scale Tibetan language model, Depatsang, was launched in Lhasa. Developed independently by Shitsang Chueluo Digital Industry Management Co., Ltd., Depatsang is China’s first big data model for the Tibetan language. It has completed the National Generative Artificial Intelligence Registration, addressing a significant technological gap in this field globally.
Founder Tenzin Lobsang stated that this open-source big data model platform is China’s first open platform for multilingual and multimodal ethnic language AI. It supports services in over 80 languages and performs functions such as listening, speaking, translating, seeing, and thinking.
Additionally, the Depatsang app was launched simultaneously and will be implemented across various sectors, creating a “Smart+” solution matrix.
