Waris Pathan Questions Nitish Kumars Mental Stability Amid Rajya Sabha Aspirations

Mumbai, March 7: AIMIM leader Waris Pathan has raised concerns about Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s mental health following his decision to pursue a seat in the Rajya Sabha. Pathan stated that Kumar’s mental balance appears to be unstable, rendering him incapable of making sound decisions.

In an interview with a news agency, Pathan expressed disbelief that a Chief Minister would aspire to become a member of the Rajya Sabha. He remarked, “The reality is that his mental stability is questionable. He cannot make decisions independently.” Pathan noted that Kumar’s announcement to join the Rajya Sabha was met with discontent among his party workers at the JD(U) office.

Pathan further criticized Kumar, saying, “He is not well. One moment he is pulling off a woman’s hijab, and the next, he is announcing his Rajya Sabha candidacy. It is unclear what is happening.” He urged the next Chief Minister to address the issues plaguing the Seemanchal region.

On the ongoing conflict between Iran and the US-Israel alliance, Pathan stated that war is not a solution to any problem. He highlighted recent attacks on Iran during Ramadan, the assassination of the Supreme Leader, and missile launches over Dubai and Qatar. Pathan questioned the Indian government’s stance on the war, especially in light of the lack of a statement regarding Khamenei’s death. He emphasized the need for the government to ensure the safety of over 50,000 Indians residing in Iran and those stranded in Israel.

Regarding the recent decision by the Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh governments to ban social media for children, Pathan stated, “It is essential to understand why both states made this decision. If the government takes steps for safety, especially concerning children’s security, it is a positive move.”
