Vikrant Massey Denies Rumors About Ramayana Casting

Mumbai, February 8: Actor Vikrant Massey has put an end to rumors regarding his involvement in the highly anticipated film ‘Ramayana,’ directed by Nitesh Tiwari. In a recent social media post, he clarified that he was never part of the project.

Recent media reports suggested that Massey had been replaced by another actor in the film, which visibly upset him.

Through his post, Vikrant made it clear that any news linking him to ‘Ramayana’ was false and misleading. He urged the media to verify information before spreading such claims. He also extended his best wishes and love to the film’s team and actors.

On his Instagram account, Vikrant wrote, “To put an end to the rumors, I want to clarify that I was never a part of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. Many media portals reporting on my ‘replacement’ should have conducted necessary background checks. It’s quite disappointing, but I wish all the best and love to everyone involved in the film.”

In Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana,’ Ranbir Kapoor will portray Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi will play Sita, and Yash from KGF will take on the role of Ravana. The pan-India film is currently in rapid production.

Additionally, the film will feature several other stars. Sunny Deol will appear as the devoted Hanuman, Amitabh Bachchan will play Jatayu, and Lara Dutta will portray Kaikeyi. The music for the film is being composed by A.R. Rahman in collaboration with Hollywood composer Hans Zimmer.

This film is being produced in two parts, featuring an extravagant set. The action sequences are choreographed by top Hollywood stunt directors Terry Notary and Guy Norris. ‘Ramayana’ is being filmed in IMAX format.
