Vidya Malavade Responds to Body Shaming and Trolls on Social Media

Actress Vidya Malavade addresses body shaming and trolling in the entertainment industry, emphasizing the negativity of critics.

Mumbai, November 1 (Daily Kiran) : Vidya Malavade, known for her role in the cybercrime thriller series “Scam 2024 – The Digital Arrest Story,” recently spoke out about the trolling faced by celebrities, particularly actresses, regarding their appearances. In a conversation, she highlighted that the comments made about individuals often reveal more about the commenter than the subject.

When asked about the culture of commenting on actresses’ looks, personal choices, or weight after pregnancy, Malavade shared her perspective. She believes that such remarks reflect the mindset of the person making them. “If someone writes something about me, it shows their viewpoint. What they write is their issue, not mine,” she stated.

Malavade emphasized that positive comments stem from a positive mindset. She strives not to let others’ opinions define her. She recalled a statement from fellow actress Richa Chadha, who advised individuals not to be swayed by what others write about them. “Ultimately, it’s their opinion. Consider how much negativity is in the mind of someone who writes such things, and it’s best to stay away from such individuals,” she added.

In addition to her acting career, Malavade is making her debut in micro-drama with “Scam 2024,” which features a talented cast including Sandeep Arora, Priyanshi Tripathi, Pooja Jha, Ayushi Tyagi, Sheetal Tejwani, Ashok K. Jha, and Yogesh Pawar. The series is currently streaming on a TV app.
