New Delhi, May 9: A significant opportunity has emerged for those preparing to become civil servants. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued an official notification inviting applications for a total of 45 positions in various departments, categorized under Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ gazetted posts.

The 45 vacancies include roles such as:

– 29 Senior Administrative Officer Grade-II positions at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence.

The online application process commenced on Saturday, with the deadline set for May 29. Candidates wishing to apply can submit their registration forms on the official website by 6 PM on the last date.

Applicants must possess a relevant graduation degree from a recognized institution or university, along with the necessary qualifications, skills, and experience in the relevant field.

The maximum age limit for candidates ranges from 30 to 45 years, depending on the position, calculated as of the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on qualifications and experience, shortlisting, recruitment exams (if conducted), personal interviews, and the final merit list. Selected candidates will receive salaries according to pay levels 7 to 10 and academic levels 10 to 13A1.

When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is set at ₹25 for General/OBC/EWS candidates. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Divyang and female candidates are exempt from the registration fee.
