UP Minister Criticizes SPs Blue Dress Code, Blames Building Collapse on Negligence

Lucknow, September 8 (Daily Kiran) : Om Prakash Rajbhar, a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government, recently spoke out on various pressing issues, including a building collapse in Delhi’s Saty Niketan, the blue dress code adopted by the Samajwadi Party’s student wing, and the flooding disaster in Nepal. He attributed the collapse to the alleged negligence of the building owner and called for accountability.

Rajbhar stated that if the building owner was aware of the structure’s deteriorating condition, they should have demolished it to construct a new building. He emphasized the need for responsibility regarding the safety and lifespan of buildings to prevent such tragedies.

On the topic of the Samajwadi Party’s blue dress code, Rajbhar accused the party of deceiving the Bahujan community. He asserted that wearing a specific color does not define one’s ideology. He pointed out that many development schemes named after prominent figures of the Bahujan community were scrapped under the previous government.

Referencing former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and Azam Khan, Rajbhar noted that the public is well aware of their tenure and statements. He claimed that regardless of whether the opposition adopts blue, red, or black, it will not change the political landscape or lead to their return to power. The public continues to place their trust in the NDA government, which is why they are expected to return to power.

In response to the flooding situation following the Nepal disaster, Rajbhar assured that the government is fully committed to relief and rescue operations. He highlighted that efforts are being made across all levels of administration to ensure timely aid reaches those affected.

Additionally, he commented on Lucknow being recognized as one of the cities with the cleanest air in the country. Rajbhar attributed this achievement to the combined efforts of the government and the public, stating that improvements in air quality are a result of both administrative initiatives and citizen participation.
