
Guna, September 18 (Daily Kiran) : Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Union Minister for Communications and Development of the Northeast, showcased his support for women’s technological skills during an event in Guna, Madhya Pradesh, on September 18. At the Chief Minister‘s Jan Vishwas Camp held in Barkheda Gird village, he flew a drone alongside Kiran, known as ‘Namo Drone Didi,’ highlighting her technical expertise and confidence.
During the camp, Kiran demonstrated her drone operation skills, allowing Scindia to experience flying the drone himself. He praised her technical knowledge and efficiency, noting that rural women are embracing modern technology to create new opportunities in agriculture and rural development.
Scindia emphasized that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, there is a continuous effort to promote the use of modern technology in rural areas while empowering women. The Namo Drone Didi initiative is a significant step in this direction, enabling women to effectively utilize drone technology in agricultural tasks.
He also commended the Madhya Pradesh government’s commitment to women’s empowerment, rural development, and the expansion of modern technology under Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. Scindia pointed out that Namo Drone Didis are becoming inspiring examples of self-reliance, innovation, and empowerment for women.
Highlighting Kiran’s confidence, he remarked that the ease with which rural women adopt modern technology reflects a positive image of a changing India.
