Kyiv, March 11 : For the second time since Russia’s invasion into Ukraine, hackers have disrupted a Ukrainian internet service provider. According to CNN, the internet service was hacked on Thursday but the engineers were working to restore the service even on Friday. However, it remains unclear as to who carried out the hack. The internet provider did not explicitly blame Russian hackers for the incident, but said “the enemy” was responsible, a term that Ukrainian officials have used to refer to Russia during the war, CNN reported. “This is the second time since the beginning of the war that we have suffered from a hacker attack on key network nodes,” said Triolan, an internet provider with customers in Ukrainian cities such as Kyiv, Kharkiv and Dnipro, on Telegram on Thursday. The hack caused outages across Triolan’s service areas on Thursday, according to Doug Madory, director of internet analysis at network monitoring firm Kentik. “We are trying to stop the hackers as quickly as possible and restore network operation in all areas,” it added.
