New Delhi, July 20: In a shocking incident, two bodies were found under suspicious circumstances in an apartment located in the Sant Nagar area of New Delhi’s Amar Colony on Monday. Authorities reported that the police have taken possession of the bodies and are currently investigating the matter.
Initial reports indicate that the bodies were discovered in a flat where a young woman had been renting for the past two years. She was originally from Nagpur, Maharashtra. Alongside her body, a young man’s body was also recovered.
According to police sources, the young man was found hanging from a ceiling fan, while the woman’s body was lying on the bed. This incident has caused a stir in the neighborhood. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and secured both bodies. Subsequently, the woman’s family, residing in Nagpur, was notified.
The landlord, Abhishek, informed a news agency that he had rented out the property, which consists of five rooms. Room number four was rented to the young woman, who had been living there for two years. He mentioned that they received a report in the morning about someone attempting to break into the room. Following this, they sent a caretaker to investigate.
When the caretaker arrived and checked the room, he discovered the bodies of both the young woman and the young man. The landlord noted that the woman was approximately 26 years old and worked in Nehru Place. He described her behavior as appropriate and mentioned that she paid her rent on time. He speculated that the young man had come to visit her and suggested there may have been some sort of dispute between them. However, he had no information about the young man.
After finding the bodies, the landlord promptly informed the police, who are now conducting their investigation.
