Trump Unveils Ambitious Agenda for Upcoming Midterm Elections

Washington, September 11 (Daily Kiran) : President Donald Trump presented a comprehensive agenda for the upcoming midterm elections during a Republican conference in Dallas. He emphasized that if the Republican Party retains control of Congress, significant changes will be made to healthcare payments, permanent tax cuts will be enacted, and stricter laws regarding immigration will be implemented.

Addressing his supporters, Trump urged them to view the congressional elections as a reflection of his own candidacy. “You have to think of it as me running,” he stated, highlighting the importance of this election as one of the most critical in recent history. He claimed that a Republican victory would allow his administration to eliminate federal payments to large health insurance companies, redirecting those funds directly to individuals for their healthcare needs.

Trump promised to make tax cuts permanent, accusing Democrats of attempting to reverse his administration’s economic policies. “We will keep those fantastic tax cuts,” he asserted, warning that Democrats seek to abolish them.

The President also reiterated his commitment to the “Most Favored Nation Prescription Drug Discount” policy, aiming to embed it permanently into U.S. law. He claimed that his administration has achieved the largest reductions in prescription drug prices to date, with some prices dropping by as much as 50 to 90 percent, though he provided no supporting data for these assertions.

Trump called for the passage of the “No Invasion of Our Country Act,” without detailing its provisions, and expressed a desire to tighten immigration controls. “We don’t want any more invasions in our country,” he declared.

Additionally, he advocated for the “Save America Act,” which would require proof of voter identity and citizenship. Trump pledged to eliminate cash bail policies and intensify efforts against fraud, claiming that his administration has uncovered billions linked to fraudulent activities, potentially exceeding a total of $1 trillion.

He repeatedly urged his supporters to vote on or before November 3, warning that a Democratic takeover of Congress would lead to the reversal of his policies. The midterm elections will determine control of the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate for the remaining two years of Trump’s term.
