New Delhi, May 17: U.S. President Donald Trump has once again issued a stark warning to Iran. He stated that time is running out for the nation, and if immediate action is not taken, there will be nothing left for them.
In a post on the social media platform ‘Truth’, Trump emphasized, “The clock is ticking for Iran, and they better act quickly, or they will have nothing left. Time is the most precious commodity.”
Previously, Trump had shared an AI-generated image along with a message warning Iran, stating, “This is the calm before the storm.”
The image shared on social media shows President Trump wearing a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat, standing on a naval ship amidst stormy seas and lightning, alongside an admiral of the U.S. Navy. Iranian vessels can also be seen in the background, intensifying the signals of a potential confrontation. This post is widely interpreted as a message directed at Tehran.
In response, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has clearly stated that Tehran seeks a resolution through dialogue, but patience and serious negotiations are essential. He warned that if war is imposed again, the outcome will be the same as before.
Zarif remarked, “This is a matter of war and peace. If they want a solution through dialogue, they must be patient, as reaching the right solution requires complex and extensive discussions. If they wish to engage in war again, that is their choice. They have tested us before, and they may do so again, but the result will not be different.”
The New York Times has reported that Trump is preparing to make a significant decision regarding Iran, and his aides are allegedly discussing alternative plans for new air operations should diplomatic efforts fail.
