Trump Issues Strong Warning to Iran During Coast Guard Academy Graduation

Washington, May 21: President Donald Trump delivered a powerful address at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy graduation ceremony, praising the graduating class while defending his administration’s immigration and economic policies. During his speech, he issued a stern warning to Iran, stating that Tehran will never be allowed to develop nuclear weapons.

Speaking to the 2026 graduating class in New London, Connecticut, Trump emphasized that the United States has become the most prominent and powerful nation in the world. He encouraged the cadets, saying they are joining the service at a time when America is regaining its strength.

“We will not allow Iran to possess nuclear weapons. The message is clear: they will not have nuclear weapons, and they are eager to negotiate,” Trump asserted.

He further stated that the U.S. has already responded firmly to Iran, and if necessary, even stricter measures could be implemented.

Throughout his speech, Trump highlighted recent Coast Guard operations, linking them to U.S. actions against Iran, drug trafficking, and maritime security. He noted that the Coast Guard’s tactical teams have played a crucial role in intercepting sanctioned oil vessels tied to Iran. Trump claimed that the Coast Guard was instrumental in “Operation Epic Fury,” aimed at preventing the Iranian regime from acquiring nuclear arms.

Additionally, Trump addressed maritime operations and anti-drug campaigns, revealing that since his re-election, the Coast Guard has seized over 206 million doses of deadly narcotics. He described this effort as a vital part of the “steel wall” built at sea.

In his speech, Trump also discussed political matters, criticizing the previous administration’s border security policies. He stated that the U.S. has transitioned from the worst border situation in history to having the strongest borders now.

He praised his tariff and manufacturing policies, claiming that $18 trillion in investments are flowing into the country. Trump noted that tariffs have prompted semiconductor and automobile companies to resume production in the U.S.
