New Delhi, September 1: On the birth anniversary of Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder of ISKCON and a prominent figure in spreading devotion to Lord Krishna, several central ministers and state chief ministers paid their respects.
Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, expressed his homage on X, stating, “I humbly pay my respects to the spiritual guru Abhay Charanaravinda Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada on his birth anniversary.”
Central Minister Manohar Lal also took to X, saying, “On the birth anniversary of the revered founder of ISKCON, Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, who spread the message of Lord Krishna worldwide, I offer my heartfelt salutations. His unique efforts to disseminate the sacred Bhagavad Gita and connect people to Indian Sanatan culture and Bhakti Vedanta are commendable.”
Pankaj Chaudhary, the BJP president of Uttar Pradesh, wrote on X, “I respectfully pay my homage to the revered Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada on his birth anniversary, who ignited the devotion to Lord Krishna globally. His contribution to giving global recognition to Sanatan culture, devotion, and Indian spiritual philosophy through ISKCON will always be remembered.”
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta posted on X, “On the birth anniversary of the revered founder of ISKCON, Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, who established the eternal messages of Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, and Jnana Yoga from the Bhagavad Gita on the world stage, I offer my deepest respects. He ensured that the teachings of Lord Krishna transcended texts, reaching the masses through the living paths of practice, service, and devotion.”
Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary wrote on X, “On the birth anniversary of the spiritual guru and great saint, Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, I offer my heartfelt respects. His contributions to spreading the messages of Krishna devotion, spiritual consciousness, and Sanatan culture worldwide will always be remembered.”
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also paid his respects on X, stating, “I respectfully honor the founder of ISKCON, Abhay Charanaravinda Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, on his birth anniversary. You have inspired countless devotees on the path of devotion to Lord Krishna, promoting public welfare. Your life dedicated to faith, devotion, and knowledge will continue to guide us.”
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya wrote on X, “On the birth anniversary of Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), who spread the divine messages of Lord Krishna worldwide, I offer my profound respects! His life exemplifies unwavering faith, penance, and dedication to human welfare, enriching the world with the knowledge of the Bhagavad Gita and the spiritual consciousness of Krishna devotion.”
