Mumbai, May 17: A tragic incident occurred in the Khar West area of Mumbai when a massive tree fell on an auto-rickshaw, injuring two young girls. Both were rushed to Hinduja Hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, one girl has succumbed to her injuries, while the other remains in critical condition and is currently in the ICU.

The deceased has been identified as 14-year-old Erika Srivastava. The second girl, 21-year-old Harshita Kumar, is still receiving medical care in the hospital. Doctors are making every effort to save her, but her condition remains serious. Both girls were brought to the hospital in a critical state, prompting immediate intensive care.

Despite the medical team’s best efforts, Erika Srivastava could not be saved due to the severity of her injuries.

This incident took place on May 10, when the large tree fell onto the auto-rickshaw, causing panic among local residents. Tragically, the two girls were severely injured after being trapped beneath the fallen tree.

They were quickly transported to the hospital, where their critical conditions necessitated immediate ICU admission. While one girl lost her life during treatment, the other continues to fight for her life, with doctors dedicated to her recovery.
