On the evening of March 6, 2026, the body of a 24-year-old man was discovered hanging from a noose in the Jhanda Colony, Asola village. The police have classified the case as a suicide and currently do not suspect any criminal activity.
Authorities responded to a PCR call and arrived at the scene from the Maidangarhi police station. According to reports, Harimohan, the father of the deceased, alerted the police. The victim, Dilip Kumar Bairwa, originally from Bhulupura village in Rajasthan’s Karauli district, had been staying in the room for about three days. He worked as a security guard in Delhi.

When Harimohan and his son arrived, they found the door locked from the inside and received no response despite repeated knocking. After forcing the door open, they discovered Dilip hanging from the ceiling fan with a nylon rope.
