Tragic Family Dispute Leads to Suicides in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh

Damoh, August 28: A heartbreaking incident has emerged from Damoh district in Madhya Pradesh on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. A family dispute led to a son taking his own life, followed by his parents committing suicide by train. The police are currently investigating the matter.

According to reports, the incident occurred in the Kotwali police station area along the Damoh-Katni railway line. On Friday morning, Mukesh Ahirwar left his home on a motorcycle. When he failed to return, his parents, Bharat Ahirwar and Uma Ahirwar, went out to search for him.

Upon discovering Mukesh’s body on the railway tracks, his parents were so devastated that they also chose to end their lives. Mukesh was married, and his wife is pregnant. He also had a younger brother who had gone to his sister-in-law’s house to celebrate Raksha Bandhan when this tragic event unfolded.

Reports suggest that family tensions and Mukesh’s despair may have contributed to the suicides. Currently, the police have not identified a clear motive and are continuing their investigation. The bodies of all three deceased have been sent for post-mortem, and a case has been registered to determine the reasons behind the suicides. The family is in mourning, and no one can comprehend why Mukesh took such a drastic step, leading to the tragic loss of both parents as well.
