
Bhopal, March 25: A devastating collision between a car and a tractor near Bhopal has resulted in the deaths of three individuals, with one person seriously injured. Among the deceased are two cousins.
According to reports, the accident occurred in the Itkhedi police station area on Barasia Road in the Nipaniya Jat region. The car collided head-on with an oncoming tractor, which was carrying a load of grain.
The victims were traveling from Bhopal towards Barasia when the collision happened. The impact was so severe that it trapped the occupants inside the car, making it difficult for them to escape. The vehicle was crushed, and the doors could not be opened. Emergency responders had to cut through the car to rescue the four individuals inside. Tragically, three of them succumbed to their injuries, while one remains in critical condition.
The injured person has been transported to a hospital for treatment. The deceased have been identified as Harsh Mehra, Satish Mehra, and Lucky Kushwaha, all residents of Bhopal. Their bodies are currently undergoing post-mortem examinations. The police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
Witnesses reported that the car was traveling at a high speed when it collided with the tractor. Bystanders attempted to help those trapped inside the vehicle but were unsuccessful. Ultimately, rescue efforts required the use of cutting tools to free the occupants.
