
Nawada, February 22: A tragic accident in the Sitamarhi police area of Nawada district, Bihar, has claimed the lives of three young men riding a motorcycle. They were returning from a ceremony when the incident occurred. The police have taken possession of the bodies and sent them for post-mortem, while further investigations are underway.
According to reports, the three youths from Riuula village in Gaya district were heading to a tilak ceremony in Mahogya village of Akbarpur block. The accident happened near Katghar Mor. Eyewitnesses stated that the motorcycle was traveling at a high speed, causing the rider to lose control and crash directly into an electric pole.
The deceased have been identified as Sonu Kumar, also known as Bhola Chaudhary, son of Sunil Chaudhary; Pratap Kumar, also known as Vikas Kumar, son of Vijay Chaudhary; and Indra Manjhi, son of Rajesh Manjhi. Upon receiving news of the accident, the police promptly arrived at the scene and sent the bodies for post-mortem.
Sitamarhi police station chief Harendra Yadav reported that the incident occurred late Saturday night. The families of the victims have been informed. He mentioned that after learning of the accident, police quickly reached the location and transported the injured to a local hospital, where all three were pronounced dead.
The speed of the motorcycle can be gauged by the severity of the impact, which resulted in the deaths of all three individuals. Meanwhile, the village is in mourning, with family members devastated by the loss. The police are currently investigating the matter.
