Maulana Rajvi Expresses Disappointment Over India Block Rally Impact on Traders
Maulana Rajvi criticizes Congress for ignoring traders concerns over the India Block rally, predicting significant financial losses during the festive season.

Bareilly, November 1 (Daily Kiran) : Maulana Shahabuddin Rajvi Bareilly has voiced his disappointment regarding the India Block rally organized by Congress at Ramleela Maidan. He expressed support for Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s anti-drug campaign in Punjab, emphasizing its national importance. Rajvi stated that the campaign is crucial as drug addiction affects entire families, leading to severe health issues.
He urged everyone to actively combat substance abuse within their families and communities, particularly targeting the youth. “We must educate our young people about the dangers of drugs and encourage them to reject this menace,” he said. Rajvi highlighted that Punjab is facing a significant drug crisis and called for collective efforts to achieve a drug-free society.
Regarding the upcoming rally, he acknowledged that protesting is a constitutional right. However, he stressed the need to consider the potential harm to the public. Rajvi noted that traders in Delhi had appealed to Congress to postpone the rally due to the festive season, warning of potential losses amounting to thousands of crores. Despite these concerns, the party proceeded with the event, leaving traders anxious about the financial repercussions.
“The traders depend on the festival season for their income, and this rally disrupts their business plans,” he lamented. Rajvi questioned who would take responsibility for the anticipated losses, emphasizing that traders are left to fend for themselves in this situation.
In a separate discussion, he addressed the marriage of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to journalist Nidhi Rajdan, highlighting Islamic marriage principles. He stated that, according to Islamic law, both parties must be Muslim for the marriage to be valid. Since Rajdan is not Muslim, the marriage is considered invalid from an Islamic perspective unless she converts before marriage.
Maulana Rajvi concluded by reiterating the importance of adhering to religious principles in matters of marriage and family.
