BJP Criticizes Congress Over Allegations of Vote Theft Amid Festival Season Disruptions

BJP leaders condemn Congresss rally, claiming it jeopardizes traders livelihoods during the festive season and undermines democracy.

New Delhi, November 1 (Daily Kiran) : In New Delhi, BJP leaders launched a fierce critique of the Congress party during a rally at Ramleela Maidan. Uttar Pradesh BJP Vice President Suresh Rana labeled the mock parliament staged by the opposition as an affront to democracy and a blow to the nation’s reputation. Minister Swatantra Dev Singh emphasized that Congress has historically opposed the system, Sanatan Dharma, and the Ram Temple, frequently making unfounded accusations of vote theft.

Rana expressed his concerns, stating, “The leaders of the India Block are consistently spreading confusion. This is the first time we’ve seen them conduct a mock parliament in such a manner. It directly disrespects democracy, which is recognized globally as India’s hallmark. Such actions tarnish the dignity of our democratic system and have drawn widespread criticism, affecting the country’s standing.”

Minister Swatantra Dev Singh further criticized Congress’s long-standing opposition to the establishment, tracing it back to the time of independence. He accused party leaders, including Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, of perpetuating a narrative that undermines the system, Hinduism, and the Ram Temple. “When they lack substantial issues, they resort to allegations of vote theft,” he said.

Danish Azad Ansari, another Uttar Pradesh minister, remarked that if Rahul Gandhi truly cared about traders and the public, he would not have called for a rally during the festive season, which disrupts their livelihoods. “His concerns are only for his personal interests,” he asserted.

BJP MP Jagdambika Pal questioned the rationale behind the rally, asking what issues were being raised. “Are these matters being discussed among the public in any state? The Election Commission is continually updating the voter list, providing opportunities for voters to register. A special revision campaign was conducted in Uttar Pradesh over two days, with Booth Level Officers visiting each polling station,” he noted.

West Bengal Minister Gaurishankar Ghosh condemned the rally, asserting that the public would see through the “false uproar.” He pointed out that the opposition’s calls for a return to paper ballots would lead to their defeat, as evidenced by past elections. “They previously spoke of paper leaks and now demand resignations,” he added, predicting that if voting were conducted by ballot, Congress would secure no seats.

Ghosh criticized the opposition for lacking viable solutions, stating that they are now resorting to protests in Ramleela Maidan. “The people of India stand against them. A handful of misguided individuals, including those from Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh, have gathered to make noise during election time,” he claimed.

BJP MLA Sukanta Dalui dismissed the India Block as non-existent, suggesting they are struggling for relevance and attempting to disrupt the national atmosphere with their activities. “Their efforts will have no impact on the public. The people of India have democratically chosen their government and are prepared to support it again,” he concluded.
