Los Angeles, June 21: Hollywood actor Tom Holland’s upcoming film, “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” faced an unexpected challenge on set due to a tattoo he got as a tribute to his Spider-Man character. The tattoo inadvertently appeared in a scene, prompting the team to digitally edit it out.
Reports indicate that Holland has a Spider-Man tattoo on the lower part of his foot, which he got during the filming of his first Spider-Man movie. The issue arose when he was filmed hanging upside down from a building in his Spider-Man costume. This scene was shot without clothing, making the tattoo clearly visible on camera, necessitating its removal through digital effects.
At a fan event, Tom Holland humorously recounted the incident. He said, “I have a Spider-Man tattoo on the bottom of my foot. Due to its size, it showed up in a scene where I’m hanging from a building without clothes. Shooting that was quite strange. At the time, everything seemed normal, and the team thought the scene was shot perfectly. But later, when the visual effects team reviewed the footage, they realized my foot tattoo was clearly visible. They had to digitally remove it to ensure there were no mistakes in the film.”
According to reports, “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” is set after the events of “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” In this story, the world has forgotten Spider-Man, and he faces a new struggle. Tom Holland will be joined by his wife Zendaya, who has also appeared in previous Spider-Man films.
