Kolkata, April 21: Chief Minister Rekha Gupta of Delhi made a significant claim on Tuesday regarding a BJP roadshow in Raniganj, West Bengal. She stated that the massive crowd on the streets of Raniganj serves as a clear warning against the corruption and misgovernance of the TMC government.
Gupta noted the overwhelming enthusiasm from the public in support of BJP candidate Partho Ghosh during the roadshow. This enthusiasm indicates that the people of West Bengal are eager for change and are thoroughly fed up with TMC’s rule. She accused the TMC of fostering a regime of syndicate rule and rampant goondaism in the state.
Sharing images from the roadshow on the social media platform X, Gupta wrote, “The surge of people on the streets of Raniganj is an open warning against TMC’s corruption and misgovernance. The overwhelming enthusiasm witnessed today for BJP candidate Partho Ghosh clearly shows that West Bengal is completely exhausted by TMC’s syndicate rule and goondaism.”
She further stated, “West Bengal, which needed security and development, has only seen a reign of fear and oppression under TMC, leading to widespread public outrage. It is now time for the people to use their voting power to oust these corrupt individuals from power. The public has decided to choose BJP for the comprehensive development of Raniganj; change in West Bengal is inevitable.”
Earlier, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta participated in a roadshow in Asansol in support of BJP candidate Agnimitra Paul. During her interaction with the media, she emphasized the growing confidence among the people of Bengal, stating that they are emerging from the shadows of fear and terror.
She claimed that after 15 years of oppression and misgovernance, the people of Bengal now seek development. The citizens are moving away from fear and terror. Women have suffered atrocities, and youth have faced unemployment over the past 15 years. The entire state now desires development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Every citizen has decided that the darkness in Bengal will be lifted, and the lotus will bloom.
