
Ahmedabad, April 20: Tilak Varma’s unbeaten century propelled the Mumbai Indians (MI) to set a formidable target of 200 runs against the Gujarat Titans (GT) in the 30th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on Monday.
At the Narendra Modi Stadium, Gujarat Titans’ captain Shubman Gill won the toss and opted to field first. In response, MI scored 199 runs, losing 5 wickets in their allotted overs.
The team faced an early setback, losing debutant Danish Malewar for just 2 runs in the 1.5 overs. Naman Dheer then partnered with Quinton de Kock, but the duo managed only 15 runs in 10 balls.
