Mumbai, September 15 (Daily Kiran) : Actor Suraj Pancholi has recently addressed the growing speculation surrounding the death of celebrity manager Disha Salian. His name has surfaced in connection with the case, prompting him to clarify his position. In a note shared on Instagram, Pancholi emphasized that he has never met Salian and has nothing to hide regarding the situation.
He stated, “I decided to speak out because I believe it’s important to clarify certain facts in the public domain. Over the past few years, my name has been dragged into various media reports and statements linked to the controversy surrounding Disha Salian’s unfortunate death. I want to make it clear that I have never met Disha Salian in my life, nor have I met Aditya Thackeray.”
Pancholi expressed his distress over being associated with matters that do not involve him. He explained, “I remained silent for a long time because I didn’t want to respond to every report or story about me. However, when the same things keep happening, there comes a point where you have to speak for yourself. The CBI and police have already investigated me, and agencies recorded my statement about four to five years ago.”
He continued, “I have nothing to hide! If any investigative agency feels the need to question me again or requires more information, I am completely willing to cooperate and make myself available for any inquiry. I just want my name to be cleared before being dragged into such matters. I strongly support a fair and thorough CBI investigation into the circumstances surrounding Disha Salian’s unfortunate death.”
Pancholi’s father, Aditya Pancholi, also called for a proper investigation into the matter. He urged everyone to avoid spreading rumors, stating, “I believe that the malicious propaganda and false stories being created around this unfortunate incident should be investigated. A person’s death should never tarnish another’s reputation without evidence. Please do not believe everything you see in the news or on social media.”
He firmly added, “A headline is not evidence, a debate is not evidence, and what someone says on television does not become fact. Please verify things before forming opinions about someone’s life and character. Behind every name discussed on television, there is a real person, a real family, and a real life.”
Pancholi asserted that he has been quiet for too long but will no longer allow anyone to drag his name into such cases. He concluded with confidence in the law and investigative agencies, stating, “I trust that the truth will ultimately come out. Let the facts, investigations, and truth speak for themselves. Jai Hind.”
This statement from Suraj Pancholi comes as renewed attention is focused on the Disha Salian case, with several names, including Aditya Thackeray, Dino Morea, and Rhea Chakraborty, being discussed in connection with the controversy.
