SP MP Mohibullah Nadvi Criticizes BJP, Claims Youth Sentiments Are Being Stifled

SP MP Mohibullah Nadvi condemns BJP, alleging suppression of youth sentiments and undermining of institutions ahead of West Bengal by-elections.

New Delhi, October 2 (Daily Kiran) : Political tensions are rising in New Delhi as the Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Mohibullah Nadvi has launched a strong critique against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Referring to the recent meeting of the India Alliance held on September 30, Nadvi announced that parties within the coalition would unite to protest against the Election Commission and alleged vote theft starting October 2.

Nadvi accused the government of undermining the sovereignty of institutions through the actions of Knowledge Kumar, claiming that the interests of youth and students are being disregarded. He expressed that there is a significant lack of strong leadership in the current administration.

“The meeting of the India Alliance on September 30 included representatives from 20 parties. It was decided that from October 2, all parties, whether part of the alliance or not, would engage in protests. The way Knowledge Kumar has been utilized to erode institutional sovereignty has angered many. The Constitution does not grant anyone the right to steal the votes of the Indian populace,” Nadvi stated.

He further emphasized that the current situation reflects the frustrations of the Indian public. “The sentiments of the youth are being crushed. Students are facing dire circumstances, leading some to consider extreme measures. The politics of discrimination has shaken the foundation of our country. When trust erodes within society, the very fabric of the nation begins to unravel,” he added.

Nadvi also pointed to pressing national issues that have emerged since the BJP took power. He criticized the recent release of six individuals arrested on charges of treason for their involvement in anti-national activities in Myanmar and the Northeast, questioning why they were allowed to leave the country. He highlighted the morale of Indian soldiers, particularly following the events in the Galwan Valley, as a reflection of the government’s weak leadership.

Bihar Congress President Rajesh Ram echoed Nadvi’s sentiments, stating, “It is evident that there is a conspiracy to weaken the Constitution within the country. Knowledge Kumar’s actions have aided the BJP in vote theft, and we are fighting them directly.”

Prakash Joshi, in charge of Congress in West Bengal, criticized the BJP’s governance since the new administration took office, asserting that they have failed to address crucial issues. He remarked, “If the BJP had used their intellect, they would have focused on fair elections. The misuse of government machinery and the Election Commission has been rampant since the new government was formed.”

Joshi also condemned the lack of action against BJP workers engaging in violence, suggesting that the current chief minister is acting out of fear of losing upcoming elections. He concluded by saying that the electorate is prepared to respond to these issues in the upcoming elections.

Tensions are high as the political landscape in West Bengal continues to evolve, and the public awaits the outcomes of these unfolding events.
