Six Killed in Two Road Accidents in Amroha, Four MBBS Students Among Dead

Lucknow, December 4: Six people, including four MBBS students, were killed in two separate road accidents in Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday night.

In the first incident on Delhi-Lucknow National Highway at Atrasi in Rajabpur, four students died when their speeding car crashed into a stationary DCM truck. All four deceased were MBBS students from Venkateswara University.

According to eyewitnesses, the collision was so severe that the car was completely damaged, killing all occupants on the spot. The accident occurred late Wednesday night.

Police immediately reached the scene after receiving information and sent the bodies for post-mortem examination. Forensic teams and police personnel remained at the site throughout the night to investigate the cause of the accident.

University officials also reached the spot after being informed about the incident. The identification of the deceased is being carried out, and their families are being notified.

A police team from Rajabpur police station conducted site inspection and efforts are underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.

In another tragic incident the same night, two young men were killed when a truck collided with their motorcycle on National Highway 9 in Gajraula around 8:45 PM.

According to officials, the deceased have been identified as Deepak and Nitin from Sona Khurd village in Lakhimpur Kheri, who were returning home from Gurugram.

Police reached the scene, took possession of the bodies and sent them for post-mortem. Station House Officer Manoj Kumar confirmed the incident and said two people died in the road accident.

He further stated that police have prepared the panchnama of both bodies and further legal proceedings are underway. Police officials have started searching for the truck based on CCTV footage from the area.
