New Delhi, December 5 (Daily Kiran): The domestic bullion market witnessed a slight weakness in silver prices today, with the precious metal declining by around Rs 100 per kilogram. Due to this decline, silver prices in Chennai and Hyderabad have once again dropped below the Rs 2 lakh per kilogram mark. Across different bullion markets in the country, silver is currently trading between Rs 1,87,700 to Rs 1,95,900 per kilogram.

In Delhi, silver prices have slipped to Rs 1,90,900 per kilogram today. Similarly, in Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Kolkata, silver is trading at Rs 1,90,700 per kilogram. Meanwhile, in Jaipur, Surat and Pune, silver is holding at Rs 1,91,000 per kilogram. In Bengaluru, silver is trading at Rs 1,91,200 per kilogram, while in Patna and Bhubaneswar, it is at Rs 1,90,800 per kilogram. The highest silver prices in the country are still in Chennai and Hyderabad, where the precious metal has dropped from the Rs 2 lakh level to Rs 1,99,900 per kilogram today.

Rajiv Dutta, CEO of Capex Gold and Investments, says that despite today’s decline in silver prices, there is still potential for strengthening. In the international market, silver prices have consistently remained above $55 per ounce. Even today, the precious metal is trading at $58.57 per ounce in the international market. Due to increasing industrial demand, prices could reach $63 to $65 per ounce in the coming days. However, small investors should be cautious and plan their investment strategy carefully during the current volatile period.
