Mangaluru, March 24 : Raising the issue of barring Muslim traders from installing stalls around temples, Karnataka Bajrang Dal on Thursday questioned Congress Leader Siddaramaiah’s silence over Muslim comm ty’s ban on Hindu fish sellers in Gangolli. “Why doesn’t Siddaramaiah speak about the ban on Hindu fish sellers in Gangolli town of Udupi district by Muslims? He has differential treatment for Hindus and Muslims,” Bajrang Dal Pranth Sanchalak KR S l told reporters here. The Muslims had imposed ban on Hindu fish sellers and refused to buy fish from them after a protest was staged in Gangolli town against cow slaughter, he said. “It were the Muslim traders who started the business of banning,” S l alleged. Cows are being illegally transported rampantly in the coastal Karnataka region. “They barge into homes, flash swords to take away cows and cattle from Hindus,” he said. BDN SHK1909
