Siblings Assaulted While Riding Home on Motorcycle; FIR Filed Against Three Suspects

New Delhi, April 22: A case of assault, verbal abuse, and threats has emerged involving a young woman and her brother in the Aali Vihar area of Sarita Vihar. The police have registered a case against three individuals in connection with the incident.

According to police reports, on April 19, around 7:30 PM, a call was received regarding an assault near A-18, Gali Number 3, Aali Vihar. The complainant, an 18-year-old girl, was riding home on a motorcycle with her brother when the suspects stopped them, verbally abused them, and prevented them from moving forward. When they resisted, the assailants surrounded them with their motorcycles and physically assaulted the brother using punches and kicks. The complainant also sustained injuries during the altercation. The siblings managed to escape and return home, but the assailants later returned to threaten the girl and her family with death.

Local police, led by Inspector Sarita Vihar, arrived at the scene to question witnesses. It was revealed that the complainants had gone to the hospital for treatment. After discussing the matter with their family, they decided to file a complaint. The complaint was officially registered on the evening of April 21. The suspects have been identified as Nakul, Jeetu (a bouncer), and Anil Muncha. Efforts to apprehend all three are currently underway.

In a related incident, three individuals were arrested in Preet Vihar for allegedly shooting a man over a parking dispute. Police officials provided details on Tuesday. The victim, Pankaj Nair, had a heated argument with his brother Paras and Gaurav Sharma regarding parking. During the altercation, Gaurav Sharma allegedly fired a shot, hitting Pankaj in the chest. This incident occurred around 2:20 AM on Monday. Following the shooting, Nair was taken to a nearby private hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police confirmed the arrest of the suspect, Gaurav Sharma (42), a resident of Preet Vihar.
