Shooter Claims Intent Was to Intimidate Tiger Shroff, Not Kill Him
Two shooters arrested for firing at Tiger Shroff claim their aim was to instill fear, not to kill the actor, during police questioning.

Mumbai, October 29 (Daily Kiran) : In Mumbai, two shooters, Phool Singh and Rehan, arrested in connection with the shooting at actor Tiger Shroff’s car, stated during police questioning that their intention was not to kill him but to create a sense of fear within Bollywood.
The accused explained that if their goal had been to murder Shroff, they could have attacked him while he was playing football. At that time, he was in close proximity, and there were no security personnel around. They asserted that such an opportunity would have made it easy for them to carry out the act and escape.
Phool Singh and Rehan told the Crime Branch that they were only tasked with intimidating Shroff and instilling a climate of fear. The police are currently investigating the true motives behind the attack and the individuals who orchestrated the shooting. Independent verification of the shooters’ claims is still pending.
The incident occurred on October 18, when gunfire was directed at Shroff’s vehicle in the Juhu area of Mumbai as he was leaving the Pushpa Narsee Ground after a football match. Although Shroff escaped unharmed, his driver, Firdous, sustained injuries from gunfire. Following the attack, the three shooters fled on motorcycles and later dispersed using a train and a cab.
Mumbai police initiated an investigation after filing a case. Initially, the shooters Rehan, Phool Singh, and Hrithik Kumar were apprehended in Kota, Rajasthan. Subsequent arrests were made in Delhi and Sonipat as police looked into the supply chain of the weapons used.
Authorities suspect that the mastermind behind the attack is Randip Malik, a close associate of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, who allegedly assigned the task to Rehan and Kunal through Anil Pandit. During interrogation, the accused claimed that Shroff’s praise for fellow actor Salman Khan was a contributing factor to the attack.
