Shocking Murder Case Unfolds in Mungeshpur, Delhi

New Delhi, April 1: A shocking murder case has emerged from the Mungeshpur area in Outer Delhi. Police received reports of a body found in an open field, causing a stir in the locality.

Upon receiving the information, a police team from the Bawana police station, including senior officials, rushed to the scene. They took possession of the body, which was identified as a male. However, the body had decomposed to such an extent that identification was challenging.

After considerable effort, the deceased was identified as Pradeep, the son of Mangeram. His brother, Anil, confirmed the identity. According to police reports, Pradeep was also known as a ‘bad character’ in the Bawana police jurisdiction.

Investigations revealed that on March 29, around 2 PM, Pradeep had gone to a liquor store with three friends. After purchasing alcohol, they headed to the Mungeshpur area to drink. At approximately 10 PM, Pradeep called his wife to inform her of his location near Sohati-Kutubgarh Road, mentioning that his scooter had a flat tire but he would return home soon.

Following this call, his mobile phone was turned off. His family began searching for him, but he was nowhere to be found. Subsequently, they filed a missing person report at the Dariyapur police station. Meanwhile, a PCR call reported the discovery of a body, confirming that the deceased was indeed the missing Pradeep.

The police have registered a case under Section 103(1) of the BNS. Multiple teams have been formed to apprehend the suspects, employing both technical and manual investigation methods.
