Greater Noida, May 19: The suspicious death of newlywed Deepika Nagar in Jalpura village, located in Greater Noida’s Ecotech-3 police station area, has caused a stir. Her family has accused her in-laws of murder for dowry. Recent revelations from the post-mortem report have intensified the gravity of the situation.
According to the post-mortem report, Deepika’s body exhibited numerous severe external injuries. Notably, there were swelling marks approximately 12 centimeters long on the right side of her face, along with deep wounds on her left elbow and left arm. The report also noted a significant bruise, about 38 centimeters long, on her right thigh. A deep wound was found down to the bone on her left knee. Additionally, injuries were recorded on her lower back and abdomen, along with a large circular contusion above the right iliac crest and marks around her arms. During the post-mortem, bleeding was observed from her left ear, and deep pressure and abrasion marks were found on the left side of her chest and abdomen.
The report indicated the presence of a hematoma, or blood clot, in the middle and left side of the brain. It also revealed a ruptured spleen and a yellowed left kidney. Internal bleeding was confirmed in various parts of her body, and the heart chambers were found to be empty.
The post-mortem report further stated that the severe external and internal injuries on her body suggest significant trauma. Specifically, the hematoma in the brain and the ruptured spleen are believed to be the result of violent injuries. Meanwhile, the viscera has been preserved for toxicology testing.
Deepika’s mother, Saroj Nagar, shared that they received information around 1 AM two nights ago that their daughter had fallen from the roof. They were not informed about how she fell or what actually happened. When they inquired about the circumstances of her fall, they received no clear answers. She expressed that Deepika had been subjected to harassment by her in-laws for the past eight months.
