Sharad Pawar Discharged from Hospital, Advised to Rest by Doctors

Mumbai, April 23: Sharad Pawar, the leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), was discharged from the hospital on Thursday. He had been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai due to health concerns.

Pawar was hospitalized on Tuesday, where he underwent several medical tests. After two days under medical supervision, doctors advised him to return home on Thursday.

Amid rumors about his health, family members and NCP MLA Rohit Pawar clarified the situation. In a post on X, Rohit Pawar mentioned that many party workers had expressed concern about his health, but assured that Pawar is doing well.

He confirmed that Pawar has been discharged and is resting at his home in Mumbai. Rohit also noted that they had recently discussed some work matters. He urged the public not to worry about Pawar’s health.

Former minister and NCP MLA Jitendra Awhad also stated that Sharad Pawar’s condition is stable. In a post on X, he reiterated that Pawar is recovering at home after being discharged from the hospital.

Awhad called for prayers for Pawar’s swift recovery so that he can return to active politics in Maharashtra.

Earlier, while addressing the people of Baramati from the hospital, Pawar expressed regret over his absence. He stated that he has been voting in Baramati since 1967 and had planned to vote this time as well. However, due to his sudden health issues, he was hospitalized, and doctors advised against travel for treatment and rest.
