New Delhi, March 7: Senior BJP leader Shah Nawaz Hussain has proclaimed India as the best country for Muslims. He stated that while many people around the world live in fear and insecurity, Muslims in India feel safe.
In a recent conversation, Hussain emphasized, “I have always said that there is no better country for Muslims than India, and they cannot find a better leader than Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”
He pointed out that many Gulf nations and other regions are facing challenging conditions, but India has a leader who is guiding the nation on the right path. He noted that globally, India is recognized as one of the safest countries.
Hussain also criticized the TMC government, stating that the Election Commission in West Bengal has effectively managed the SIR process. However, he accused Mamata Banerjee of attempting to protect infiltrators by including their names on the voter list. He claimed that some party workers were registering multiple names and casting votes throughout the day, but those names have now been removed.
He questioned, “If a voter has passed away or left Bengal, why should it concern the TMC government if their names are being deleted? The Election Commission is rectifying the voter list for fair elections.”
Hussain commended the Election Commission for its efforts, saying, “I thank the Election Commission for their excellent work, but TMC leaders continue to make false statements and are trying to disrupt the electoral atmosphere.”
On March 6, Mamata Banerjee staged a protest against the SIR process, which the BJP labeled as a mere drama.
