New Delhi, April 9: A significant opportunity has emerged for youth aspiring to work at South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL). The company has announced a massive recruitment drive for 1,055 positions, including Assistant Foreman.

The official notification from SECL outlines vacancies for various roles: 577 positions for Mining Sardar (T&S) Grade-C, 43 for Deputy Supervisor (T&S) Grade-C (Mining), and 435 for Assistant Foreman (Electrical) Grade-C.

The online application process will commence on April 15 at 10 AM and will close on May 14. Candidates interested in government jobs are encouraged to register on the official website within the stipulated timeframe.

Applicants for the Mining Sardar position must possess a valid Mining Sardarship, along with a diploma or degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized institution. For the Deputy Supervisor role, candidates should have a matriculation or degree/diploma in Mining/Mining Survey Engineering, along with a Supervisor qualification certificate. Those applying for the Assistant Foreman (Electrical) position need a three-year diploma in Electrical Engineering along with matriculation.

Additionally, candidates must meet other specified eligibility criteria, skills, and experience relevant to the positions.

The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years, while the maximum age is capped at 30 years, calculated as of April 8. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government norms.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT), personal interviews, health/medical fitness assessments, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹47,330, along with additional benefits and allowances.

When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is ₹1,180 for Unreserved (UR)/OBC (Creamy Layer and Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS categories. However, candidates from Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/ESM/PWD/Departmental candidates and women are exempt from the registration fee.

To apply online, candidates should visit the official SECL website. After reaching the homepage, they must click on the active application link for the relevant position. Following registration, candidates should log in and fill in all required information in the form. All necessary documents should be uploaded in the correct size. After paying the registration fee, candidates should submit the form and keep a printout of the application for future reference.
