Samsung has officially confirmed that its new Galaxy Buds Core will go on sale in India on June 27, 2025 — just ahead of the Galaxy M36 smartphone launch on the same date. Positioned as the successor to the popular Galaxy Buds FE, the new Buds Core promises improvements in design, battery life, and durability.
Here’s a quick look at what buyers can expect from Samsung’s latest budget-friendly true wireless earbuds.
Launch Date & Availability
The Galaxy Buds Core will be available in India starting June 27 at 12 PM IST. The earbuds will be sold through Amazon India and Samsung’s own Samsung Shop app. Samsung has also begun teasing the upcoming launch on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle.
Interested buyers can sign up for sale alerts directly through Samsung’s teaser links.
A recent (brief) listing on Samsung UAE’s website revealed most of the specs and colour options, though the listing was pulled down shortly after.
Design & Colour Options
The Galaxy Buds Core will be available in two popular colours:
Black
White
The earbuds have been designed to be as lightweight as possible for improved comfort during extended use. According to reports, the Buds Core are even lighter than the Galaxy Buds FE, which should help reduce ear fatigue during long listening sessions.
Audio Features & Compatibility
On the audio front, the Galaxy Buds Core will support:
AAC
SBC
Samsung’s Scalable Codec — known for stable Bluetooth performance, even in environments with high Wi-Fi interference
The earbuds will also support Bluetooth profiles:
A2DP
AVRCP
HFP
For added durability, the IP54 rating offers dust and water resistance — an improvement over the Buds FE’s IPX2 rating.
Battery & Charging
Each earbud packs a 65mAh battery, while the charging case houses a 500mAh battery.
Samsung claims:
Up to 20 hours of playback with ANC enabled
Up to 35 hours without ANC
This marks a 5-hour improvement over the Galaxy Buds FE, which had a max battery life of 30 hours.
Despite the battery upgrades, the earbuds remain lightweight:
5.3 grams per earbud
31.2 grams for the case
Should You Wait for the Galaxy Buds Core?
If you’re looking for budget-friendly earbuds with better battery life, improved dust and water resistance, and solid audio performance, the Galaxy Buds Core could be worth waiting for.
Pricing will ultimately decide how competitive these earbuds are. For reference, the Galaxy Buds FE launched at ₹9,999 and are now available for under ₹5,000. If Samsung manages to price the Buds Core aggressively, they could become one of the best options in the segment.
Stay tuned — full pricing and availability details will be announced on launch day, June 27.
